PRINTMAKING, PAINTING, mixed media

As an emerging multidisciplinary artist, my practice encompasses not only photography, but printmaking, painting, and mixed media.  Although I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art in the late 1980s, I consider myself an emerging artist as I paused my artistic career to raise my children in that intervening time. It wasn't until 2023 that I rediscovered my passion and curiosity for making art and, since then, I have achieved significant recognition, having been selected as a finalist in some of Australia's most prestigious art awards. I have had a solo show of my photographic works, been part of numerous group exhibitions and have been featured in photographic magazines. 

My work is deeply centered around the complexities of human emotion, particularly focusing on responses driven by trauma. This exploration allows me to create pieces that resonate with vulnerability and raw emotional depth. I work diligently to expand my practice, with a focus on experimentation and deepening my artistic expression.  I'm excited to further explore my personal and creative voice and continue evolving as a multidisciplinary artist.
